The typical patient will have an initial consult, a 4-8 week follow-up, then follow-up every 6 months to maintain refills.

Initial Consult
Includes a thorough evaluation to better understand your symptoms and medical history. Any needed labs will be ordered. Upon receiving lab results any recommended prescriptions will be sent to the pharmacy. (Prior patients of Dr. Ruth will be charged at the follow-up rate. )

Follow-Up
For new patients, we recommend a follow-up approximately 1-2 months after starting new treatment. Any adjustments can be made at this time. Then, a follow-up every 6 months is required.

Labs
We offer low-cost cash labs. Lab orders vary per patient. All orders are customizable. Please send us any outside labs you’ve had within the last 12 months as they may be sufficient.

Prescriptions
We work with each patient to determine which pharmacy option is best for them as pricing can vary. Insurance may cover your prescriptions. However, many of our patients get similar cash pricing from local pharmacies. We only prescribe bioidentical hormones which most commonly come in topical creams, patches, and oral pills. Pricing is determined by pharmacy, dose, and type. The average woman is paying between $35-50/month for hormone therapy.
